So, the next thing we need to do is enter an account number, and this is device location 1.

So, once you have entered the phone number that you're going to enter, you'll just push pound. So, we're going to just enter a 10-digit number here, 1555555555. So, as long it dials out, we don't care what the number is. You just want the system to dial out but it's not actually dialing to something directly, it's just dialing to the bat. It doesn't really matter what you enter here. So here, you're just going to enter a fake phone number pretty much. So, the first thing we're going to do is go to location zero, which is for the phone number. And then you need a location followed by pound. So, we're going to use device address 0 and then pound. After you enter that, it's going to ask for the device address, then pound. To do that, you're gonna use *8 followed by the installer code. First thing you're gonna do is enter installer programming. So, let's go ahead and go to the table and we'll get started on the programming. And if you wait till the end of the video, I'll show you how you can get that. I'll be following more or less what we have in our Quickstart guide that we've written for you. There will be some obvious slight changes based on the number of zones and things like that. This video will apply to any of the network systems, the NX4, NX6, NX8. In today's video, I'm going to be doing the basic programming for the Interlogix NetworX panels. To find a touchscreen (basically something similar to the Xfinity touchscreen) that I can connect to the existing setup (or with some minor tweaks). My Xfinity system was set up using hard-wired sensors so there is an iControl box connected to the main panel alreadyġ. I was already using my own router (Netgear WNR1000) so that is still connectedĢ. However, the sensor notifications (not the phone app) is currently still working even without having official service which makes me think that I can just hook up another one or something similar.ġ. I will be returning my touchscreen (TCA300COM) to Xfinity but wanted to see if there is a way that I can connect another touchscreen to my current home setup? I tried keeping this one but now they're charging me for un-returned equipment. I just ended my Xfinity Home contract (for $$ reasons and because I really don't need professional monitoring).
